Waypoint can create your own email system designed for the sending of group emails to your existing and developing databases. The system, which we would develop for you, is a standalone email system designed to make the sending of group emails easy, simple and above all hassle free.

The system is based on ourcontent management system, which is utilised to power most of the websites, which we develop for our clients; our clients use this system to add news and events to their websites within minutes.

The features:

The system will be designed so that the user can send templated emails to members of your developing and exisiting database.

Initially the system can have four templated options:

• General Emails
• Surveys
• News Releases
• Events Bulletin

These templates can be designed and specified to fit in with your business needs.

The user would log onto the Waypoint system and choose which type of email they wish to send, once this has been done, they will then fill in the content of the new email and this can include:

• Text (with a rich text editor to format text)
• Images (Automatically resize to fit the are)
• Links to files
• Links to websites
• Links to Surveys
• Signatures

Once the user has completed the email they will then select which database of subscribers they wish to sendthe email to and they will then send the email.

Once the email has been sentthe user will be able to track the sending of the emails to see:

• How many have been received
• How many have been read
• How many have failed
• How many have bounced

We will ensure that the system is optimised to send as many as possible of the ‘true” email addresses and once the email has been tracked we will work with you to look at the failed and bounced emails to see if we are able to identify why they have acted in this way. Emails that have been sent can be archived for reference at a later date.

Development

The system will be developed around your specific needs and requirements, once the designs for the templatedemails have been agreed we will then write a specification for the site with you to ensure that the system performs inline with your needs and expectations.

The system will be tested with the most common email systems and these include:

• Mac Mail

• Yahoo

• Hotmail

• Microsoft Outlook (various versions)

• Thunderbird
